TomORB doesn't support autoboxing in the current time. 
				
    Consider the following case study: 
    
    If TomORB is modified to handle autoboxing and an Java interface is defined as : 
    
    int[] getIntArray();            // TomORB can succussfully retrieve 
                                    // the integer array.
    void setIntArray(int[] ary);    // also, it is successful for TomORB 
                                    // to pass the integer array back to 
                                    // the Java server. 
    
    Similarly, TomORB can successfully handle the autoboxing from
    java.lang.Integer[] (in java) into int[] (in C#).
    
    java.lang.Integer[] getIntegerArray(); 
    void setIntegerArray(java.lang.Integer[] ary);
        
    However, if the functions are defined as follow: 

    java.util.ArrayList getIntArray(); 
    void setIntArray(java.util.ArrayList ary);
    
    If one of the element in the ArrayList is java.lang.Integer[] this element would
    be converted into int[] in C#.  If the same element is passed back to the Java server, 
    the java server may not get the correct data inside the ArrayList. Should the same
    element inside the Arraylist be converted to int[] or java.util.Integer[] in Java? 
    There is no hint in the IDL defintion. Hence TomORB do not support 
    autoboxing in any kind.
